Firstly thank you for somehow ending up here..
Since a young age I have been drawing cartoons (mostly monsters), and also making stupid films with friends and family. Being the son of wildlife artist Maurice Pledger I grew up painting and drawing alongside him in his studio. I’m part Italian and half Sicilian so spent a lot of time growing up in Bologna through the summer holidays visiting family. Spending a lot of time with my great uncle Sergio Iori there who was an excellent oil paint artist. In the same way that Sergio got my dad into painting when he was little, he got me into cartoons.
So rather than lugging around my portfolio that used to break my back, I have put together this website with help from my friend Loretta Chan. I’m 29 now and have been doing professional work since I was 16, some of the work on here has been published or commissioned, some is just for the fun of it. I have done both Illustration and film work for the following clients..
